Indian smartphone brand Xolo’s first Windows-based tablet, the Xolo Win, has been launched in India on June 11 and is currently sold by the Indian e-tailing giant Flipkart at a price of Rs 19,990. The tablet was initially announced at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2014, in partnership with the US-based technology firm Advanced Micro Device (AMD).
Flipkart has also come up with a lucrative launch offer for the tablet. A buyer can exchange his/her old tablet for a Xolo Win tablet at a minimum discount of Rs 3,000.
Available in black color, the Xolo Win features a 10.1 inch (1,366 x768 pixels) LED screen and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core AMD Temash A4-1200 processor with AMD Radeon HD 8180G GPU (graphics processing unit). It runs on the latest Windows 8.1 OS and has been designed to be used as a laptop substitute, so that it can cater to working professionals.
The ultra sleek tablet is equipped with 2 GB RAM, 32 GB of internal storage space with expansion slot, and packs a 3550 mAh battery. The device also sports a 2 MP rear camera and a 1 MP front-facing camera.
The Xolo Win also allows you to connect with other devices, thanks to the number of ports on the side of the tablet. Users can also connect to the Internet as the Tablet is Wi-Fi capable.
